I. Associate Your Cultivation Scheme
1. Each graduate student will have a cultivation scheme that can be viewed in Cultivation orientation.
2. You can only select courses if the cultivation scheme is shown on the page. Please contact Graduate Office of your college to complete the cultivation scheme.
II. Select Your Cultivation Orientation
1. There are several cultivation orientations in the cultivation scheme, please choose one as orientation on your future courses after discussion with your supervisor.
2. After you've chosen your cultivation orientation, please DO Not change it randomly. Once it is changed, your personal study plan will be automatically cleared.
III. Make Your Personal Study Plan
1. Please select courses in the frame of your selected cultivation orientation. Your study plan should meet the requirements for your credits and your compulsory courses.
2. The personal study plan will be used as the basis for the credit examination before graduation. If the planned courses have NOT been completed, you WON'T be able to graduate. Therefore, you'd better NOT add a course which is irrelevant to the graduation requirements in your study plan.
3. Your study plan should be verified and approved by your supervisor and college. Once the verified plan is modified, you need to go over the approval process again.
4. For some special reasons, for example, the interdisciplinary students of a master-doctorate program, and those who had obtained credits for English or political courses before the reform, etc., if your study plan can NOT meet the requirements of your cultivation scheme of the major, you could work out your study plan first according to your actual course selections, then apply for special approval.
IV. Select Your Courses Online
1. You can see the progress of all your courses in My schedule, both the planned and unplanned ones.
2. If you can NOT register your planned courses, you can wait until next time; or adjust your study plan and change the courses under the guidance of your supervisor or Graduate Office of your college.
3. If there are some public selective courses, course number 0000999, in the cultivation scheme, however, the courses are not offered actually, you can choose another public selective course instead of the planned course during the course selection process. The selected course will be listed in "unplanned courses". If a certain course is not only a professional course, but also a public selective course, it can be regarded as either during credit examination.
4. If you want to select an unplanned course, you can select by clicking "course search" at the upper right corner.
5. Move your mouse to a certain course, a floating window will show the warm tips of course selection.
6. In initial course selection, you can submit two applications for political and English courses (0500009).
7. You can click "English exemption" to apply for English exemption for two courses: Graduate English Basic Skills (0500008) and Graduate English Advanced Skills (0500009). Once you've applied for English exemption for Graduate English Advanced Skills (0500009), you cannot select the course, and vice versa.
V. Check My Schedule
1. Show the courses offered this semester. Black: selected courses. Orange: courses unprocessed. : conflicting courses.
VI, Check My Exams
1. The examination arrangement will be announced two weeks before the exams, please keep an eye on the announcements.
